drkmbnt
drkmbnt is a live act that performs its music with self-soldered sound tools.
I love improvisation, those moments when orderly things break into disorderly ones, when I no longer know how things will continue. And then, purely by chance, another possibility opens up.
Most of the releases are recordings of jams, gigs or online performances. I love small sound tools, with simple synchronisation or none at all. The sound has to inspire me, then I solder the device. Now and then I modify a device, but I don't develop it myself. I want to make music. But with simple tools that encourage improvisation and make playing difficult.
My favourite sound tools are: Chaosz (Uwe Schüler), Flip Floater Delay, Dual-Pitch Synth (Claude Winterberg), ATiny Punk Console, IOIO, AtBase (Noisio), Grains (Ginkosynthese) and the Dude (Bastl Instruments) as mixer.
At the moment I'm working on a setup where I can use my sound tools (all from FlipFloater) midified with an Arduino Nano.

drkmbnt is a live act that performs its music with self-soldered sound tools. The music is improvised, every now and then they jam for a long time and arrange a piece from the recorded parts.
I love improvisation, those moments when orderly things break into disorderly ones, when I no longer know how things will continue. And then, purely by chance, another possibility opens up. And of course the stress.

How you can help me:
Please send me videos of your self-designed sound tools and if you like them I will buy them, solder them and maybe use them live. Eurorack modules are not my thing.
